From 18 to 20 October, 2005 the 14 th International Trade Fair BIOTECHNICA 2005 was held in Hannover, Germany. The fair offered visitors complete overview of the latest products and advances in the spheres of biotechnology, pharmaceutics, food industry, agriculture and environmental protection.
More than 900 companies from all over the world took part in BIOTECHNICA 2005 — the industry’s most popular event in Europe .
FerroLabs, Inc. took part in the exhibition (Hall 3, Stand 'F59) showcasing ferrofluid-based technology for sealing bioreactor and fermentor agitator shafts. FerroLabs’ ferrofluid-based seals and ferrofluids were greatly appreciated by the participants and visitors of trade fair. Bioreactor models containing mounted ferrofluid-based seals were developed by the company’s specialists for the visual demonstration of operation principles of devices manufactured by FerroLabs, Inc.
